Stone Steps, Pathways, and Patio by Bolton Landscape Design & Masonry Inc. Bolton Landscape Design & Masonry Inc. recently had the pleasure of completing a beautiful landscaping job transforming a client's outdoor space into a beautiful oasis. Located in Wilton, the consisted of a number of stone steps, pathways, and a spacious patio that combined functionality with aesthetics. The stone steps are made of some of the finest natural granite and bluestone you can find, both of which have proven to be very durable and beautiful over the years. The steps not only provide safe and easy access from the home into the lush garden below but serve as a visually appealing focal point for the landscape. A masonry expert built the steps, which are aesthetically pleasing, reliable, and integrated with the site. The pathways lead guests through the garden with a tasteful combination of interlocking pavers and natural stone. Combining these two materials creates a nice visual effect while providing simple maintenance and long-term durability. The site also posed the challenge of an uneven slope, which forced us to come up with some creative design solutions for a smooth, safe, and expressive way to traverse the overall property layout. The central part of the was the large-format stone patio, a beautiful space for entertaining and relaxing. The design incorporates patio space for outdoor furniture and dining while providing built-in seating to promote group gatherings. Subsequent alternatives, such as the custom landscaping (e.g., raised flower beds) and ambient night lighting complete that warm, welcoming outdoor experience.
