Patio Planters by Bolton Landscape Design & Masonry Inc. Bolton Landscape Design & Masonry Inc. recently completed a magnificent landscaping called IRIS Planters, located in beautiful Westport. This was a reflection of our commitment to quality, thought, an overall happy client! The main goal of IRIS Planters was to recreate an existing outdoor living space using bright and colorful custom planters, integrating them into the overall look and feel of our client’s patio/integrating the build into the overall look and feel of their patio. We used locally sourced stone and timber to build durable and weatherproof planters, constructed to hold a variety of seasonal flowers and lush green plants all year long. One challenge was the variability of the client's backyard site, which took a lot of leveling and grading, so the planters would look spectacular and function well. We implemented some elevated techniques to create a tiered set of planters, which also helped visually extend the space while keeping plants drained. We also added personal touches of a subtle light effect to showcase the planters and planters colors/effect at night and to create cozy and inviting space during the evenings. The culmination of plant colors and vines cascading and selected foliage created a backyard retreat for the client to use whether entertaining friends or seeking quiet time. Overall, we created a stunning outdoor space that the client was thrilled with, skilled and expert craftsmanship turned their vision into reality. Our attention to detail, skillcrafting and we added distinctive features to enhance the overall property as well as create sustainable, enduring landscaping plants for design aesthetics for future years.
