About This Project

Kevin & Deb's Landscaping Transformation by Aesthetics, Inc. We are thrilled to share our beautiful landscaping with Kevin and Deb, located in scenic Crete. This represented a multifaceted process that involved careful planning, innovative design, and craftsmanship; all parts of the homeowners' wish list for a serene outdoor sanctuary. The began with a comprehensive evaluation of the natural features of their property and their vision. We skillfully blended a myriad of elements together that included a custom stone patio made from local bluestone that fits perfectly into the existing landscape. A wonderful gathering spot surrounded by lush, perennial flower beds filled with hydrangeas and daylilies that bloom at different times throughout the season. One of the challenges we had to overcome was the unevenness of the yard, for which we constructed a tiered garden system to beautify the space, as well as to make it functional. Our landscape architects designed a series of natural stone retaining walls that fortified the yard, while allowing a level of beauty in the design for the new flora. The use of native plant species was an important part of the to ensure low maintenance while enhancing the biodiversity of the peaches in the area. This combined with ornamental grasses and flowering shrubbery allowed for not only texture but to promote the thought of the land being beneficial to pollinators, etc. The end result was a beautiful landscape that incorporates function and beauty. Kevin and Deb were elated with their new outdoor room, stating that they couldn't be happier with how the space now serves as an extension of their home for entertainment and recreation purposes.
