Casual - Wantland Ink Landscape Architecture, PLLC Located in Tennessee, the 'Casual - Wantland Ink Landscape Architecture, PLLC landscape represents a seamless integration of nature and landscape design that serves the communities of Belle Meade, Brentwood, Forest Hills, Nashville, Oak Hill, and Memphis. The transformed a conventional backyard into a relaxing sanctuary based on function, style, and aesthetics. The design had a blend of native plantings that included colorful perennials and drought resistant shrubs. These plants showed off the natural beauty of the area and reduced maintenance requirements. The design of stone walkways and stone seating areas used stone that is harvested from the local area that made for a great organic feel to the landscape. The inviting water feature offered a waterfall sound element in addition to serving as an attractive feature to the landscape. During the process of installing the landscape design, the team met thinking challenges with uneven land and poor drainage. Ultimately, the overall grading and drainage system solved our impending issues. After a heavy rain fall, once again the landscape was resilient in nature and little signs of the rain were noticeable. As a result, we converted the backyard into a beautiful oasis of outdoor space that was usable for family recreation and entertaining friends. The client was in awe and satisfied with not only a new outdoor space to enjoy, but also praised the design execution through thoughtfulness to blend the surrounding environment. The received the 'Casual' to capture the transformation of the backyard while highlighting the talents of Wantland Ink Landscape Architecture, PLLC rhythmic and holistic approach to finely crafted artistic outdoor spaces.
