Two Story Deck from Ganshert Nursery & Landscapes Ganshert Nursery & Landscapes recently renovated this backyard in Madison by specializing in custom home landscapes by completing the 'Two Story Deck' . Vortex, this was ambitious but improved both the functionality of the space and visually the property as modern living amongst nature. The started with a detailed consultation to capture the client vision. Thoughtful deck design, which included a two-story deck that afforded sweeping views of the vista, went into the team planning process. The deck uses sustainably-sourced cedar in open and covered sections for optimal entertaining and relaxing time. The upper level is finished with stylish railing systems, and the lower level has built-in seating as well as built-in planters that can be used to display colorful flowers and greenery. A major challenge of the was the slope of the property. His competent crew engineered the footing for the deck, making sure that the ground was secure but also that there was no major disturbance to the natural slope of the yard. They creatively designed around existing trees, which not only beautified the landscape, but also harmonized better with the rest of the environment. Final touches such as custom lighting installs which light up the deck for evening functions to welcome in that air of comfort. Native plantings around the deck are another way to not only beautify the structure but also to aid local wildlife by providing sustenance for bees and butterflies. The end product had the client completely thrilleda beautiful two-level deck that not only adds a real room with no walls but blends in with it all in one. This , which initially presented many challenges, truly became a beautiful transformation of the space, thanks to the quality craftsmanship Ganshert Nursery & Landscapes provided to their clients.
