Our latest work, the 'Red Brick Pathway' is a testament to our quality and workmanship, serving Madison and surrounding communities in Dane County. This gorgeous path was created to add accessibility and beauty to the client garden, linking the different outdoor living spaces and enticing guests to wander through the greenery. We used quality red clay bricks to make an appealing and warm path, which blends well with the natural beauty of the surroundings. The bricks selected were durable and of a rich colour, ensuring that it would look great and be able to stand the test of the elements as well as time. The whole came with lots of challenges, such as tree roots and uneven land. Our experienced team overcame those challenges by using a gravel and sand base thoroughly compressed to promote efficient drainage and firm ground. To keep the weeds at bay, we incorporated landscape fabric so it stays looking fresh with little maintenance. It sits between an art installation and a true functional garden; the result is a gently curving line that provides a suggestive path through the garden, planted with an encouraging display of native plants to set a mood. This combination results in the red bricks forming a vivid contrast against the greens and colours before it a perfect sanctuary for the client and their guests to enjoy. Ganshert Nursery & Landscapes has designed and built a Red Brick Pathway with such attention to detail that not only is it functional, but the entire landscape helps bring the property to a new level; a magnificent point of focus that is the very essence of outdoor living. Needless to say, our client is thrilled with the end result, and we are proud to have been a part of the garden sanctuary in Dane County.
