A Country Garden Landscape Design Executed by The Garden Angels Landscape Design & Consulting, the 'A Country Garden Landscape Design' transformed outdoor sophistication for our clients living in the charming community of Salem. This expansive landscape design combines rustic charm and modern styling creating a beautiful refuge that reflects the lushness of the Pacific Northwest. One of the first tasks was to conduct a thorough assessment of the site, where we highlighted features of the landscape that would emphasize the natural topography. In keeping with the natural landscape, our team focused on using a selection of native plants such as Oregon grape, salal, and red-twig dogwood planted strategically across the site. This plant selection enhances biodiversity, is sustainable, requires little maintenance, and provides interest throughout the year. In addition to the plantings for visual interest, hardscape elements were used to create focus, interest, and a unique visitor experience. The walkway consists of locally sourced basalt in a winding stone pathway that travels through the lush landscape of the garden, showcasing ornamental plants. A lovely gazebo made from sustainably harvested wood was thoughtfully integrated into the design, serving a central purpose to provide a gathering space for family and friends while maintaining the country theme. One of the main challenges of the site was the unevensurface of the overall terrain. Our landscape architects had to design terraced planting beds, adding interest to the landscape design and improving drainage and soil health of the site. With healthy soil amendments sourced locally, the integrity of the soil and plants was ultimately improved. The final outcome of the was a beautiful outdoor space that our clients adored, providing a comfortable fire pit space with ornamental grasses and flowering perennials; it was simply beautiful for entertaining. The thoughtful design effectively balanced function and beauty, rendering a space that is picturesque on a year-round basis. Thanks to The Garden Angels quality craftsmanship, nature also blended the characteristics and , making this garden display a wonderful testament to the beauty and tranquility skilled landscaping can bring to daily life. The end result is a fabulous garden that improves the property, while providing the clients a special personal place to escape and enjoy the local landscape in their backyard.
