After the initial site visit and inspection of the front yard, we also recognized the challenges brought on, by poor drainage and a lack of visual depth to the overall landscape. We carefully crafted and designed a scheme that incorporated several different elements to create a both visually appealing and functional landscape. The centerpiece of the was an inviting, custom stone walk made of locally sourced flagstone, leading to an enhanced entryway. In addition, we created a flowerbed to flank the walkway that included a variety of perennials and ornamental grasses selected for their seasonal coloring and low maintenance. We choose primarily native plants to further promote sustainability while helping local wildlife. For the drainage, we incorporated concealable grading with an effective option, as well as inspiring rain gardens that helped facilitate water flow while also adding an ecological aspect to the elements of the overall design. Additionally, we included some attractive outdoor lighting that highlighted the pathway and provided greater securing during nighttime hours. The finished was absolutely beautiful.
