Carruth Residence Aedan Workshop is pleased to present a new landscaping at the Carruth Residence in downtown Cary. It is a that showcases our quality, creativity and understanding of our client. The Carruth Residence presented some unique challenges as a result of the sloped terrain and sunlight exposure around the home. Our professional team carefully crafted a multi-leveled landscape, which both showcased the area’s natural beauty and facilitated the proper drainage and erosion control of the property. A mix of native plants, including lively azaleas and hardy ferns, that flourish with the weather we have, and need hardly any caring. Using beautiful materials that complement the home this included local stone for the retaining walls and simple bluestone pathways that would usher traffic through the garden is a perfect way to knit indoor spaces to outdoor spaces. The handcrafted wooden pergola features in the backyard making it a focal point in addition to serving as a shaded sanctuary for family gatherings and an outdoor dining experience. The result is a beautiful combination of aesthetics and usability with colorful flowers, a calming water feature, and a lush grass inviting you to your first cup of coffee. Our clients are ecstatic with their perfected landscape where they can connect with their home and enjoy their outdoor living space at the same time.
