| LEAWOOD, KS Landscape Transformation Monumental Lawn & Outdoor LLC is pleased to announce the LOCALS ONLY award awarded for the recently completed , Leawood, KS Landscape Renovation, that dramatically redefined the outdoor living experience for our client. This included a complete makeover of the backyard with beautiful plants, hardscape, and outdoor amenities. We started by painstakingly analysing the current offering, spotting gaps and opportunities. As part of the renovation, a gorgeous flagstone patio gave a fantastic outdoor area to host gatherings. On top of this, we have a custom fire pit encased in natural boulders for those nights when you just want to chill. We selected a wide range of natives, stunning to look at, but also sustainable. Color and texture were masterfully arranged in the design, utilizing flowering shrubs, ornamental grasses, and hardy perennials to provide pleasing aesthetics year-round with minimal upkeep. This presented a challenge for our team since the surrounding soil was of poor quality, but they were able to amend it with organic compost which allowed the new plantings to be established in a thriving environment. We added an efficient irrigation system to the mixed-use landscape to minimize water usage but keep everything looking great within the space. Subtle landscape lighting serves two purposes, enhancing the beauty of the plantings while allowing the outdoor space to be used after dark. The end result is a stunning scape of beauty and functionality that fits perfectly into the client's lifestyle.
