Title: Color and Texture for Landscapes - Frisella Landscape Group Frisella Landscape Group: 'Color and Texture for Landscapes:' A Transformation at a St. Together we aimed for a landscape that is full of life but still feels harmonious in how it fuses colour, texture and function. The started with an analysis of the entire site to understand the challenges that the existing topography and soil conditions provided. Working with a talented group, we carefully selected a wide variety of plants, including perennial flowers, ornamental grasses, and shrubs to provide visual interest throughout all four seasons. We planted natives to support sustainability and the local ecology. They provided texture in the stone walks that directed visitors through the garden while providing separation in different areas of the compost design. With the use of natural stone and pavers it was a smooth transition to a high end living space outside. The was not without its challenges along the way that included everything from unlevel ground to drainage concerns. Claire: We approached these challenges with careful consideration, installing the right grading and drainage solutions that would protect and endure the landscape. What they created together was simply beautiful. This combination of flowers, green foliage, and colorful textures made such a happy contrast to this home that our clients now have a beautiful garden to be proud of. Frisella Landscape Group used a fine-tooth comb really, the work site was combed over with a fine-tooth comb and a love of the land to provide a landscape that will add both real and aesthetic value to the property while also giving the family a place to retreat for many years to come.
