Great Oaks Landscape Associates Inc. is excited to showcase one of our most recent s, Customized Pool Designs and Pool Decks: a beautiful outdoor renovation for our clients in Birmingham, Bloomfield Hills, and beyond combining meaning with lifestyle. In this we designed and installed an outdoor pool area based directly on our client's desires. The highlight of this has been a beautifully constructed in-ground pool designed with a modern feel that incorporates into the surrounding landscape. The pool itself has a sparkling blue mosaic tile finish and a natural stone coping that fits the style and aesthetic. Surrounding the pool is a large multi-level deck made with premium composite material that will last longer and be low maintenance. The deck area has plenty of lounging, entertaining and alfresco dining space. One of the biggest challenges for our team on this was the sloped area of the site. Our team, however, devised a tiered design that maintained and improved the aesthetics of the space while allowing for proper drainage. On top of pool and deck elements, we applied landscaping finishes using native plants and ornamental grasses to provide beauty and sustainability, attracting local pollinators and providing an exciting view during the winter months. Overall, the final product exceeded our client's expectations and allowed for a backyard experience where everyday relaxation and entertainment could thrive and grow. The combination of a sensational pool, attractive decking, and vibrant landscaping provided a well-orchestrated feeling of space, livability, and usability that was functional and enticing.
