'Landscapes' by Land Art Design, Inc. At Land Art Design, Inc., we take pride in creating and transforming outdoor spaces into aesthetically beautiful "landscapes" that align with the vision of the property owner. The most recent we completed under the "Landscapes" reflects our dedication to quality work and reasonable & creative design. The was completed in the heart of the vibrant communities ranging from the historical allures of Alexandria to the lush suburbs of Great Falls, and includes beautiful elements to illustrate the natural landscape beauty of the area. The "Landscapes" was characterized by its complexity, built with a mix of native plantings, thoughtfully constructed stone paths, water features, and supportive high-quality materials such as local flagstone and sustainably sourced hardwoods. The elements should be both durable and beautiful with the intent of appearing seamless to the overall environment. The presented some difficulty in terms of varying terrain and soil conditions, but with our grading approach and organic soil amendments, the planting was facilitated so that they can assume healthy growth. The signature piece of this landscape is the koi pond made up of ferns, perennial, multicolored plants that surround the pond, which allows the property to serve as a respite in a heavily wooded area with established wildlife. The design includes raised garden beds for the property owner to plant herbs or vegetables that add beauty and sustainability. The landscape benefits from energy-efficient lighting along each path, providing an attractive ambiance during evening social events. Our entire team closely collaborated with the client to ensure each detail of the matched their expectations and felt satisfied with the work, which ultimately resulted in a landscape that increased "value" to their property.
