About This Project

Water Features by Land Art Design, Inc. Located in the beautiful communities of Northern Virginia and the metropolitan area of D.C., Land Art Design, Inc. worked on an astounding landscaping entitled "Water Features." This focus was a creative addition to increase the natural beauty of residential properties in places like Alexandria, Arlington, Bethesda, and further afield, and to create settings for relaxation apart from the surroundings. We designed and built several stunning water features including ponds, waterfalls, and fountains. The nice attributes were placed carefully within the landscape, and we used fine materials, including natural stone, durable liners, and sustainable pumps. The materials chosen helped in terms of longevity and added to the beauty of the water feature surroundings in harmony with the existing plants. The topography of the client's property presented one of the challenges in the effort to arrive at a balanced, flowing water feature without looking too "engineered." The workmen were able to contour the landscape and apply native plants suitable to the wet conditions to create a sustainable environment and add to the visual appeal of the . Ultimately, the beautiful landscape was appreciated by the client. The fine sound of water flowing over the rocks in the water feature, and the lush green plants around the water, transformed their backyard into a tranquil environment. We are all proud of the beautiful abundance of workmanship and care that went into every water feature, as much to enjoy the beauty of the water features as it is to enjoy the beauty as the client relaxes nearby.
