About This Project

Venice Walk Street Residence At Russ Cletta Design Studio, Inc. turning outdoor areas into peaceful retreats is the essence of who we are. The Venice Walk Street Residence is an example of this philosophy. Located in Venice, this was an opportunity to bring modern landscaping to life while respecting the area's charming coastal context. The design consists of a mix of native California vegetation, drought-tolerant plants, and beautiful hardscaping elements that link indoor and outdoor living areas. Our team used beautiful materials like reclaimed wood, natural stone, and smooth concrete to craft a warm outdoor space that enhances aesthetics and use while maintaining a focus on sustainability. One of the 's chief difficulties was incorporating drainage and soil retention fill given the steep slope. The team seamlessly integrated terraced garden beds into the design that not only added visual interest, but also enhanced the health of the plants. The design features a stunning outdoor entertaining area with a custom hearth and seating area - the perfect venue for family and friends to gather. Ornamental grasses and flowering perennials surround the area, creating a layered space with texture and color throughout seasons. Overall, our work resulted in a stunning landscape that exceeded our client's vision and enhanced their lifestyle, giving them a quiet retreat in the midst of urban life. The work at the Venice Walk Street Residence highlights our commitment to both quality work and innovative landscaping solutions - our clients have never been happier with their renovated outdoor space and they're excited to use it.
