Custom Residence 02, Jupiter Island Promoted by Parker-Yannette Design Group, Inc., Custom Residence 02 reflects our commitment to executing remarkable outdoor environments that embed themselves so gracefully in their surroundings. This gorgeous estate serves as a fine example of the seamless relationship that can exist between architecture and landscape. The called for a detailed landscape plan that complimented its architectural beauty while considering the peculiar coastal environment. We developed a detailed site plan that incorporated indigenous Florida plants that were sustainable and suited to its climate. Our design included a combination of lush palm trees, bold flowers, and ornamental grass that provided year-round color and texture. We further enhanced the plan with the use of durable materials, such as natural stone pathways and reclaimed wood decking, to enhance the outdoor living spaces while harmonizing with the surroundings. There were grade changes throughout the property. Our team of landscape architects overcame those challenges with an innovative drainage design plan to provide proper water management and erosion control. The challenging grades allowed us to apply a series of terraced gardens that not only controlled erosion but also created a new layer of visual interest. We also employed a purposely designed water feature, that helped to add an element of tranquility, while drawing the client to its sound. The end product was a thoughtful landscape that corresponded with the clients’ wish for beauty and functionality. The outdoor spaces now serve as a peaceful oasis for family gatherings and entertaining guests without losing the natural beauty of Jupiter Island.
