This landscaping transformation centred on a large residential site merging practical and aesthetic in one. Native plants were a key component of the , highlighting species that are suited to the coastal climate of Jacksonville Beach and other nearby areas like Ponte Vedra Beach and San Marco beauties such as the Turk's cap and the butterfly ginger lily, a wide-spreading perennial with fragrant, white flowers. We introduced colorful bougainvillea and dubitable jasmine to create an aromatic experience; and chose drought-resistant grasses for their sustainability and low-maintenance value. Among the highlights of the are the naturally quarried coquina stone path that curves through the winding garden. This path not only makes it easier to find your way, but adds a quality of rustic charm to fit the natural setting. A dedication to sustainability is reflected in their choice of materials such as the reclaimed wood they use for raised garden beds. The was not without its challenges Cynthia and her team battled uneven ground and some shady patches. Yet, as is often the case, creativity turned those challenges into one-of-a-kind landscaping features such as tiered planting beds and careful tree placement. The end result is a stunning oasis, that fulfills the clients needs, and showcases the beauty of Florida's nature. The outdoor spaces at the Granada are seamlessly integrated with nature, providing a stunning family-friendly retreat or a much-needed getaway when peace and quiet are needed. Everything within this design has a purpose, creating a beautiful landscape which is fully functional and integrated into the lives of the homeowners.
