Painted Ridge Stack Rock Group - Landscape Architecture is proud to be part of the Painted Ridge , a beautiful transformation in the Boise surroundings, and we hope that this embodies our commitment to quality, creativity, and sustainability in the great outdoors. We were able to create an outdoor oasis at Painted Ridge that respects the site, while the spaces are both functional and beautiful. Our planting palette features an amazing array of native plants that are well-suited for the climates and can bloom and produce throughout the year. The planting palette features a rich assortment of wildflowers and hardy shrubs that will not only thrive but will invite wildlife to call it their home. Our custom stonework is another important aspect of the that is woven throughout the landscape - our amazing stonemasons used local granite and river stone to create beautiful paths and retaining walls that compliment the sharp contours of the property, the stone masonry elevates this site and will last for generations. We faced a challenge with the property having a steep slope and needed to utilize some creative grading techniques to create usable outdoor spaces that did not alter the overall character of the property. Our experience with erosion control and drainage allowed our team to design an artistic terrace garden that is as functional as it is beautiful. The end result of Painted Ridge is an incredible outdoor living space that includes a meditation garden, vegetable box, and multiple sitting areas to receive dramatic views of surrounding mountains. Our clients are able to host their latest family gatherings, unwind by themselves, and watch the world go by in the beautiful outdoors, all by stepping outside their backdoor. Painted Ridge is a prime example of Stack Rock Group's commitment to quality applications and innovations in design for a very special outdoor space.
