Koslowski Residence Pro Care Horticultural Services is thrilled to present the recently completed landscaping located in the heart of Greater Indianapolis, the Koslowski Residence. The aim was for Pro Care to establish an outdoor oasis that works with the existing architecture while also enhancing the attractiveness of the home. The consisted of a locally quarried bluestone patio for outdoor gatherings. An additional element was a meandering path of decorative gravel with a border of native plantings to ensure visual interest all year round without much maintenance. One of the overall challenges was to address the properties gradient. Pro Care was able to implement a tiered garden, which both improves drainage and creates spaces for gathering or solitude. This design also incorporated a water feature as the focal point of the overall design, allowing for the enjoyment that comes with watching local wildlife and listening to the calming sounds of running water. The decisions made by the design team consisted of incorporating a large selection of perennials, ornamental grasses, and evergreen shrubs to ensure that visual impact is sustained throughout the seasons. Additionally, the placement of flowering plant selections also updates the landscape look while natural mulch retains moisture and suppresses weeds. The Pro Care design team prides itself on a commitment to quality craftsmanship, and this is an excellent example of this philosophy at work. Pro Care took care to ensure that every detail, from the alignments of the stones down to the varieties of plants, was coordinated efficiently with the Koslowskis vision for their landscaping. The finished result showcases a beautiful landscape that contains value for the Koslowski family and added value on their property.
