Located in the sunny areas of Long Island, Ogden's Design and Plantings, Inc.'s 'In the Sun' exemplifies the simple beauty and which can cultivate functionality through skilled landscaping. Duro-Last Team with Back Yard AfterServing the beautiful communities of Nassau and Suffolk Counties, the team renovated a basic backyard into its own outdoor paradise that meshes with the natural backdrop. Native species have been chosen that are both hardiest and attractive, and this showcases an artistic palette of native planting. We used robust perennials, cheerful annuals, and sprightly ornamental grasses to layer color and texture in a sun-soaked setting. At its heart is an elegant, bluestone patio, built from stone mined locally, offering a strong and attractive setting for recreation and relaxation. The hardest part was getting rid of the ongoing drainage problems this plot had. Our experienced team placed their drain system so water drains away from the home as need, while also keeping the treatment of the landscape. This widened the usability of the space and will also prolong the longevity of the plantings. To enhance the ambiance, we included gentle landscape lighting that accentuates the beauty of the plants while also providing a warm, welcoming place for evening gatherings. A fire pit encircled by cushy seating added a cozy touch to the space, providing a place to enjoy Long Island's sultry summer nights. It turned used to be an out-of-this-world panorama that desired our consumer to dream big. Just from reading its you will somehow know where it belongs to; 'In the Sun' is not just a it is a celebration of outdoor living, perfectly crafted to be enjoyed for many years to come!
