Design and Plantings, Inc K. seasonal by Ogden™ - Located in the midst of Long Island, Ogden's Design and Plantings, Inc. recently finished an exciting landscaping they have dubbed 'Seasonal' which redesigned a garden space for a home in Nassau County. We think this is a true reflection of our commitment to quality and innovation in landscape gardening. The ‘Seasonal’ was so carefully designed to mirror the season elaborate with colourful plant palette with plants that flower seasonally. We chose a mix of perennials, annuals, and ornamental grasses with late spring, summer, and fall colors and textures in mind. High-end materials were chosen, like locally sourced stone for the paths and natural wood for the raised garden beds, which not only provided a pleasing appearance but also worked to withstand the tests of time and weather expected from continued exposure to Long Island coastal climate. Perhaps the largest challenge was the unlevel property, which needed carefully planned grading and drainage to keep water from standing on the lot. With our extensive skills and experience, we sculpt the land itself into something that blended water management while adding to the design of the complete picture. The end result was absolutely incredible. In spring, a spectacular bloom of flora welcomed the homeowners, and fall was a show of color when they would not be out, in other seasons, they would greet the vibrant colored foliage. The custom stone patio with fire pit was a great place for family and friends to gather and enjoy the beauty of the yard all year long. Not only did it provide curb appeal enhancements to the property, the seasonal blooms and lush greenery added a great outdoor living experience that the homeowners could enjoy. Our client was ecstatic with our attention to detail and how the landscaping changed the overall look of the home.
