Completed - 'Pondscapes' - A designed water feature that is so well integrated into its existence that it is not a feature but a part of the landscape.- Formed within the thick landscape of loneliest places on earth, Long Island (well, it seemed so, when I grew up there). Covering the lively neighborhoods of Nassau & Suffolk Counties, our crew had the pleasure in designing a peaceful escape that would not only provide tranquility but a visual focal point for your yard. A thorough site analysis informed the , grounding the design in an understanding of the unique topography and existing landscape features of the site. Our experienced landscape architects designed a beautiful pond with its natural stone edging and a subtle waterfall running into the clear water underneath. We use stones quarried locally or sustainable materials, so that the end result often seamlessly incorporates with the landscape. Our main problem was the nemesis of all such s, the trade off between an attractive pond and sustainable ecology. In response, we added native aquatic plants, which also improve the biodiversity and visual aesthetic of the pond. We also installed an advanced filtration system to keep water clear and healthy, providing the perfect environment for local wildlife hybrids. You also get pathways around it both for accessibility and rustic charm, lined with reclaimed wood and decorative gravel. Scattered along the deck were cozy seating areas, offering clients and their parties an opportunity to soak in the relaxing vibe of the outdoors. And boy did it turn out AMAZING upon completion. The Pondscapes not only provided the client with a perfect escape in his own backyard, but also attracted local birds and butterflies, allowing the homeowners to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. They thanked us for high quality craftsmanship that brought this ultimate outdoor experience right at their doorstep.
