Summary: Tennyson Ct, a Native Texas Pool by Crimson Landscape Located in the heart of Texas, Crimson Landscape beautifully transformed this backyard into a stunning outdoor sanctuary. As a native landscape company servicing Addison, Allen, Dallas, Frisco, Garland and beyond, the challenge was to create an outdoor living space that embraces contemporary style and Texas native plants. At the heart of the is a custom pool designed with a border of native Texas plants intermixed with decomposed granite. Plants selected for the landscape included Bluebonnets, Texas Sage, Red Yucca, Leucophyllum frutescens, and more! These Texan natives were chosen for their texture, vibrant colors and low water use. Natural stone coping and classic, large-format pavers were used to create the cozy lounge area around the pool. One of the challenges presented for this was the existing unlevel yard. The included properly leveling the ground and creating a subsurface drainage element. We were able to grade the soil around the edges of the pool so that if water does accumulate, it won’t remain around the pool. Our trench drain was a crucial element of the installation that ensured our customer a lasting result while also maintaining the natural contour of the backyard. The result? A stunning oasis with a balance of function and beauty. Cozy lounge areas around the pool. An amazing array of boulders and native plant beds that will encourage privacy and tranquility. The customer expressed excitement the overall integration of the landscape with their new outdoor living space, giving them endless opportunities to enjoy family gatherings or relax and unwind.
