### Mountain Retreat in the Plains Completed by Hardscape Contractors, the "Mountain Retreat in the Plains" reinvented a typical suburban yard into a magical escape that feels like you are in a mountain retreat. Redefining landscape design and construction for the Bellevue, Boys Town, and surrounding neighborhoods, we designed and constructed this inspiring landscape design to perfectly integrate with the exceptional beauty of the Nebraska plains. The consisted of a complex design of gardens filled with native plantings that will thrive in the environmental conditions while providing an outstanding color palette throughout the seasons. They used beautiful stone pavers and flagstone for a decorative pathway meandering through the lush landscape and to the beautiful centerpiece of the space, a custom built stone fire pit surrounded by natural boulders for perfect evenings for socialization. The site's topography posed a challenge for this unique . We created a functional space while still celebrating the natural contours and layering of the land. The design incorporated a custom water feature, a cascading pond, to make the tranquil landscape come alive while also being friendly to wildlife. The end-result was the blending of hardscape and softscape elements built with lasting materials. Our client was excited with the outcome and appreciated the uniqueness of having this space as both a retreat and social gathering space for family and friends. The "Mountain Retreat in the Plains" is a seamless integration of quality craftsmanship and creativity in design by Hardscape Contractors to bring a little bit of the mountains to the plains.
