Memorial Park Deck Renovation Hardscape Contractors is excited to announce the Memorial Park Deck Renovation, an amazing renovation that improves the overall form and function of one of our community’s favorite green spaces. Serving Bellevue, Boys Town, Council Bluffs, Omaha and more, our aim was to put together an outdoor space that pays homage to the park's past while providing something new and exciting. Our included the complete reconstruction of the deck area, which had succumbed to the elements and heavy foot traffic. Through careful decision making, our team selected high-quality and durable composite decking that afforded lasting durability, while nicely complimenting the park's natural elements. A rich, earthy color palette was key in creating a peaceful manifestation of the park's ambiance. Perhaps most importantly, the renovation had to ensure that the new deck design incorporated accessibility while remaining in compliance with local building codes. Our team worked diligently to create a multi-level design that incorporated gentle ramps and ample walkways to allow families, the elderly, and people with movement limitations to easily maneuver around the deck area. We also included beautifully constructed handrails and seating areas, so that park visitors could sit and take in the views. The inclusion of native plant landscaping around the deck improved the aesthetic of the and welcomed park wildlife back to the area. The end result is a beautiful deck that has transformed Memorial Park into a focal point for the community's gatherings, picnics, and quiet time. The deck contains the perfect balance of form, functional construction, and beauty that has exceeded our client's expectations and has served the park for years to come.
