At the outset of this our team was presented with the challenge of changing the slope of the site without disrupting the natural beauty of the landscape. The team prepared and stabilized the site using extensive grading and drainage solutions in order to create a sustainable and seamless design while combating erosion. The design consists of a lush pallet of native Florida vegetation, including bougainvillea, jasmine, and several varieties of palms arranged in distinct layers of color and texture throughout the seasons. We used high-quality materials to coordinate with the natural environment. This included locally sourced stone to create paths and patios, along with custom wooden trellises that add structure while supporting the growth of climbing vines. The also featured an expansive outdoor living area, which included a custom pool and travertine deck for amenities. This space provides a perfect entertainment area and connects nicely to the surrounding lush landscape to encourage every resident to engage with the serene landscape. Energy-efficient lighting was also used to add excitement to the landscape; we thoughtfully deployed a series of fixtures to highlight landscape features and create a sense of wonder in the evenings. Throughout this we collaborated closely with our client's homeowners to achieve their vision, while guiding them in expert plant selection and maintenance. The end result is a beautiful landscape that exceeded their wildest dreams while creating a peaceful refuge that communicates the desires of our client, while enhancing the overall aesthetic of the home. In the end, our client's were blown away and now have a colorful functioning, sustainable outdoor oasis to take their lifestyle to the next level.
