About This Project

A much-needed facelift transformed this small Minneapolis bathroom into a contemporary oasis. The project began with the removal of outdated cabinetry and inefficient fixtures, allowing for a fresh, modern approach to the space. The design features a sleek vessel sink that elegantly rests atop a custom, wall-mounted cabinet, creating an illusion of space while maintaining functionality. This unique vanity is ingeniously mounted off three angled walls, providing a striking visual appeal and maximizing the use of the area. The remnant granite countertop not only enhances the aesthetic but also extends gracefully past an obscured glass window, seamlessly transitioning into the shower area where it serves as a convenient shelf for various bathing products. This thoughtful design choice marries beauty with practicality, ensuring that every element is both stylish and usable. At the base of the vanity, a distinctive “floor mat” comprised of soothing river rock is inlaid amongst ceramic tiles, offering a gentle massage to the homeowner's feet as they begin their day. In alignment with sustainable practices, the project incorporated a dual-flush toilet, significantly reducing water usage without compromising performance.
