Lakeside Waterfall Landsburg Landscape Nursery Based in the beautiful area around Baxter and Brainerd, the 'Lakeside Waterfall' is a fine example of the artistry of Landsburg Landscape Nursery. This beautiful feature was carefully formed to complement the natural beauty of the terrain, creating a stunning element within the property. Water tumbles over smooth river rock from a multi-level waterfall built into the surrounding hill where the lakeside sits, providing the gentle sound of bubbling water. We used local natural stones through our expert team as it gives the stones a natural look, encourages a sustainable way, and reduced our carbon footprints. The slopped site naturally posed one of the biggest challenges we had to deal with as the form's intention was to hold onto the soil, so the solution had to keep the stability and also the look. After planning and execution we built a beautiful yet strong structure that will endure the elements while simultaneously complementing the landscape. To complement the waterfall, we also planted indigenous plants and hardy shrubs to the surrounding perimeter of the water feature (which improves biodiversity and attracts local fauna). Lighting is another factor that enhances experience at night as it lights up the waterfall and vegetation bringing life the entire experience. The end product is a beautiful sanctuary that allows the client and their family to escape and bring some happiness to their lives right in their backyard.
