About This Project

Succulent Paradise by Wildwood Landscapes + Design In the heart of the Bay Area, Wildwood Landscapes + Design completed the "Succulent Paradise" , creating an oasis of beautiful plant life in the backyard of a home. Located in the lovely area of Marin County, this exemplifies our expertise in designing landscapes that are both sustainable and visually amazing. This features a selection of succulents that was each hand-picked based on their differing color and texture. From the striking Echeveria to the hardy Agave, each succulent was placed in its location to flow and with the surrounding area. To maintain the aesthetic but also provide longevity, high-quality and locally sourced materials were used, such as the natural stone paths and eco-friendly mulch. An important aspect of the was addressing the slope of the yard and how to properly balance drainage with erosion control. We used terracing and retaining walls made from reclaimed wood and boulders to create flat planting areas while still flowing with the landscape. The end result is a gorgeous Succulent Paradise that will not only please the homeowner, but also is designed to act as a low-maintenance backdrop for family gatherings or simply relaxing. With the mix of colors and textures of the succulents against the warm color of the natural stone, the space is designed as an inviting place that encourages exploration. With a focus on quality craftsmanship and sustainability, Wildwood Landscapes + Design has once again delivered a that exceeds expectations in enhancing the beauty and usefulness of outdoor spaces in Albany, Bayview, Tiburon, and more. The client loves their new oasis, and we were proud to transform their vision into a reality.
