Summary: Stunning Solterra C&H Landscaping is thrilled to present our 'Stunning Solterra,' a stunning transformation in the heart of the Colorado landscape. Servicing areas from Applewood to Castle Rock, we were hired as the landscape designer for a residential property that aimed to bring balance to the outdoor environment in a tranquil oasis while incorporating aesthetic and function. The design process began with a thorough consultation to see the vision of the client and what they wanted, which encompassed a low-maintenance garden that thrived in Colorado climate. The design expresses a variety of native plants, including wildflowers and perennials that will provide interest through all seasons of beauty while creating a habitat for local species of flora and fauna. The included a central point of focus (water feature) built of natural stone that provided a tranquility and soothing sounds to the landscape. All stone was purchased locally through a granite and marble supplier. The team also needed to deal with a slope and drainage issues, which modified the design of a tiered garden to help mitigate and redirect water flow. The design of tiers allowed for better water management while creating defined areas for relaxation and entertainment. All pathways and seating areas were built from long-lasting eco-friendly material such as permeable pavers and reclaimed wood to improve aesthetics and sustainability. In the end, we exceeded the expectations of the clients by providing a stunning area to host family gatherings and a place for quiet meditation and self-care. The client was very pleased with the combined beauty and practicality of the outdoor space, emphasizing C&H Landscaping’s quality craftsmanship. ‘Stunning Solterra’ represents the principle of C&H Landscapingcreating wonderful outdoor spaces that inspire beauty and enrich the lives of our clients.
