Aylesford of Outdoor Ink, LLC Aylesford, by Outdoor Ink, LLC, is located in the heart of Belle Meade and this provided a wonderful transformation of a very large outdoor space into a tranquil retreat for beauty and function. The involved a complete redesign of the site with the introduction of native flowering plants, custom-built stone paths, and a highlight water feature as the centerpiece to their backyard. The water feature was not the only standout aspect of Aylesford. We built a custom natural stone patio for relaxing and entertaining. Using local materials, expert craftsman constructed the patio to be durable and blend with the landscape. The patio includes hand-built seating walls, gentle lighting, and is an outdoor gathering space to enjoy with family and friends to entertain and unwind. The work was also challenged by overly sloped grade and drainage issues. Our team was able to find a creative terracing solution with a drainage system to not only solve the grade and drainage issues, but also improved the aesthetic appeal of the landscape. A seamless connection was created from the upper garden beds to the lower patio with proper drainage of water flow to stabilize erosion and promote the health of the plants. The demanded the selection of our plant materials to include natural drought tolerant perennials, ornamental grasses, and flowering shrubs to create vibrancy and variability all season long. The plant materials allowed for color and diversity of box plant materials when in bloom and in all seasons provided support for the local wildlife. The clients were ecstatic their new landscape and Outdoor Ink, LLC was acknowledged for our detail-oriented workmanship and ability to quality. The completed landscape exceeded what the clients were imagining and enhanced the exterior aesthetics of their home with a personalized outdoor retreat.
