About This Project

Meadowglenn Dallas by Crimson Landscape Located in the bustling heart of North Dallas, the Meadowglenn highlights Crimson Landscape's talent and commitment to quality landscape design. This ambitious consisted of a large residential property with the desire for a balance of functionality and aesthetics. Right from the start, we were challenged to turn an uninspiring yard into an outdoor getaway. We completed a thorough site analysis to assess the unique topography and microclimates of the site. We incorporated native plants of Texas into the design to ensure sustainability and minimal irrigation efforts - all important to our environmentally aware client. The Meadowglenn 's key elements included a carefully designed stone path that meanders through the colorful flower beds of native perennials and drought-tolerant shrubs. The array of colors will change with the seasons as well. By using locally sourced flagstone, we catered to both the durability and the aesthetics while keeping the to its local roots. To address the stormwater drainage issues, we employed a sophisticated system of rain gardens and bioswales, ameliorating the runoff and enhancing the calming ecosystem for the local wildlife. A magnificent water element containing a waterfall serves as the artistic apex of the room while providing soothing natural sound and ambiance. The final activity area of the Meadowglenn enhanced both the beauty and usability of the outdoor space, ultimately giving the clients an edgy outdoors element they loved while increasing the value of their property. The pathways beckoned exploration while the alcove seating allowed for secluded relaxation, turning the yard into a wildlife-friendly outdoor room.
