Magnolia Shade Garden Orion Rockscapes Orion Rockscapes is thrilled to present the 'Magnolia Shade Garden', one of our recent and stunning renovations in the heart of Seattle's garden capital of the world. Situated in a quiet neighbourhood locale, the was planned based on the thought of providing relaxation space during the weanz and a quiet home, nuzzled in nature that provides an ideal leck on the city. Magnolia is the star of the garden, providing soft shade for a colorful underplanting of ferns, hostas and hydrangeas. The use of handmade stone paths made from local sourced flagstone serves a dual purpose of functionality as well as enhancing the aesthetic value of the house imitating the native appearance. The most challenging aspect was the undulating landscape of the area, which we accommodated with staggered planting beds. Not only did this increase visual interest, but it also improved drainage to all of the plants as they now ‘occupy’ different zones or microclimates. High quality earth-friendly soils and mulches help retain moisture but are also great for establishing plants: no use of synthetics, herbicides, or pesticides here. Finally, we built a custom seating area out of reclaimed timber that brings family and friends together to enjoy the tranquil view of the garden. We also show our commitment to the preservation of the natural environment by using eco-friendly materials and sustainable landscape practices. It is nothing short of a triumph, raw audio from way back when transmuted into a colossal end result. The Magnolia Shade Garden is now one of the homeowners top favorite spaces to enjoy seasonal plant blooms along with the feeling of peace and tranquility on their property.
