About This Project

Pasadena Residence by Logoluso Design Studio Located in Pasadena, this stunning landscaping created by Logoluso Design Studio showcases the ideal combination of beauty and function. The residence was already set against a beautiful natural backdrop, and the landscaping plan needed to work with that and develop the natural beauty of the land while providing the homeowners a retreat. Logoluso's team carefully selected a robust assortment of native and drought-tolerant plants designed to flourish in Southern California's climate, developing a sustainable landscape. The included ornamental grasses, perennials, and several Mediterranean trees located throughout to add beauty and interest to the environment. A custom-built stone pathway flowed through the landscape, leading visitors to a peaceful seating area surrounded by locally sourced boulders and an outdoor experience. One of the challenges with developing the design was working with the existing contours of the space. We developed tiered garden beds to absorb some of the contours of the softened seating area space for the homeowners while developing layers and depth. We utilized quality materials like reclaimed wood for raised planters and natural stone for soft walls with multi-use, designed to withstand California's elements. The end result is astonishing. The Pasadena Residence took on a vibrant landscape, providing guests with an experience while also letting the homeowners relax in an outdoor oasis. Logoluso Design Studio takes pride in providing excellent craftsmanship, and this is an example of that.
