Modern Front Yard by Happy Gardens Happy Gardens is excited to share our most recent landscaping , the 'Modern Front Yard', completed in Fort Worth and Westover Hills neighborhoods. This highlights our product quality and unique design. The process began with a full consultation to understand the client's desire for a clean and modern outdoor aesthetic. While designing we incorporated native plants, decorative boulders, and minimalist hardscaping ways that gave a clean, modern feel to the home, but also carried over observation of the local environment. The interesting features of this modern front yard include a large-format porcelain paver pathway that invites visitors toward the entrance. Landscaped along the pathway are drought-resistant plants that include ornamental grasses and succulents to fit the vibe, have year-round interest, and conserve water. Mulched around the plants, we used crushed granite for design and drainage. The property is also uneven, but we benefitted from that by using tiered planting beds everywhere. The beds were designed having plants at varied heights and textures, the beds were of different shapes and sizes, which definitely contributed to a very interesting landscape. In conclusion, this is a stunning use of modern design and environmental sustainability in the front yard. The client was very happy and expressed how the met her basic guideline of merging form and function seamlessly.
