Entry of the Week BSH Landscape and Hardscape Design Tuscan Entry Set in the center of Valencia, Ca, the 'Tuscan Entry' by BSH Landscape and Hardscape Design demonstrates a perfect balance of beauty and utility that turns basic entryway into a presence that will be remembered. This was intentionally crafted to echo a stately feel of Tuscan landscapes based on a warm palette of earthy colours and materials successfully integrated in harmony with the vernacular. We skillfully and then used natural stone pavers, wisconsin cut, "select" blocks that were chosen for their warm colors, to connect the path to guide you into the enchanting nature of the front garden. Surrounded by precise rows of Italian cypress and colouful flowering plants, this pathway uses not only visual impact, but also gives a tactile experience since it beckons them to step off the paved trail. Innovative drainage proves invaluableGiven the challenges involved, we overcame significant issues with uneven terrain and limited sunlight by using innovative drainage solutions and adopting drought-resistant plants that are in their element in our local Valencia climate. This entrance features a beautiful custom made wrought iron gate that provides an extra level of sophistication and security. Adding to this are terracotta pots filled with bright Mediterranean herbs and seasonal flowers to give life and aroma to the doorway. The end product is a stunning landscape that not only adds curb appeal, but expresses the clients style and love of the Tuscan style. This is the 'Tuscan Entry' and is a perfect example of quality craftsmanship and attention to detail by BSH Landscape and Hardscape Design.
