Canterbury Garden Estate by Hay Hill Services Located in the heart of the Lexington area, Canterbury Garden Estate illustrates the beautiful artistic and craftmanship Hay Hill Services can convey in any landscaping venture. Located in the thriving communities of Arcadia Lakes, Cayce, Columbia, and beyond, the transformation of this estate showcases our commitment to quality and client satisfaction. The consisted of a complete overhaul of the landscape, showcasing a mix of native plantings, hardscapes and outdoor livable areas. Our team handpicked plant materials that are drought resistant and adapted to the local environment, providing beauty and sustainability year round. Ornamental grasses, flowering shrubs and large scale trees were used in conjunction with the natural layout of the estate to create privacy and visual intrigue. One of the major challenges of this was the site being on an unlevel slop, creating issues with drainage and accessibility. The landscape architects of our team made the most of the terrain and incorporated terraces and retaining walls of local stone to allow for greater management of water as well as a beautiful feature that helped tell the story of the estate’s location. Along with the successful lush gardens, we designed a stunning stone patio with an outdoor fireplace, ready for entertaining and simply enjoying the amazing surroundings. The seating areas were outfitted with weather resistant furniture to ensure the space is enjoyable and usable for years to come. The finished Canterbury Garden Estate has enlightened the customer with a breathtaking new outdoor space that promotes their lifestyle and increases the value of their property. The blends seamlessly with the features of nature and design and is a proud representation of Hay Hill Services caring for our clients and a step beyond in landworking design.
