Parker Outdoors by Rocky Mountain Outdoor Living Located in Parker, Colorado, the Parker Outdoors represents the incredible skill and art of Rocky Mountain Outdoor Living. This large outdoor landscaping took a typical backyard and customized it into a spectacular outdoor space that met the client's vision of a functional outdoor space that instilled a sense of calm. The began with the construction of a unique multi-level patio that was constructed with natural flagstone and blended well with the natural environment. This natural material was appealing in all ways; it was durable, slip-resistant, and provided a beautiful and safe place for family gatherings and outdoor entertainment. Along with the patio, a custom-built fire pit was also designed with seating around it for comfort and enjoyment in the evenings when they could sit outside under the stars. The landscape design created an elaborate collection of native plantings that interacted together to establish vibrant colors in the shape of perennials, ornamental grasses, and well-placed boulders that played into a low maintenance aspect to maintain consistency in balance. A drip irrigation system was installed to support proper water usage and keep the landscape healthy and vibrant for years to come. One of the most difficult aspects we needed to contend with while doing this was the existing topography of the backyard. The team graded the yard and provided a level base for the patio while bearing in mind proper drainage to control water pooling and possible erosion. Grading the land allowed us to create a viable and beautiful space throughout the entire backyard. The end result was an absolute outdoor sanctuary that was in line with the clients’ vision of a perfect location to host family gatherings and barbecues in the summer months. The beautiful interplay of hardscape and softscape features, combined with good workmanship, made Parker Outdoors a noticeable in our portfolio. The client could not be more pleased with their new outdoor area; not only did we create a beautiful encapsulated landscape that fit their lifestyle, it significantly raised the property value too.
