Summary: Golden Oasis by Rocky Mountain Outdoor Living Located in downtown Castle Rock, the 'Golden Oasis' landscaping is best described as a combination of nature combined with sophistication designed by Rocky Mountain Outdoor Living. Our company serves the wonderful communities of Acres Green, Aurora, and beyond! The takes a simple backyard and transforms it into a tranquil oasis, allowing our customers to experience quality workmanship and design, as it's the way we showcase our hard work. We immersed ourselves into this featuring so many elements, including an impressive custom stone patio that would function as the centerpiece of all gatherings outdoors. In order to create an elegant yet rustic surfacing, we used local sourced flagstone that would seamlessly blend into nature. Surrounding the patio, we planted indigenous flora that shows vibrant activity year-around while withstanding a locative drought! One of the challenges with the was the site was sloped, and evaluating the engineered nature of this was essential. In order to tackle site drainage, our team chose to install selectively located boulders as walls to create a structure, while bolstering visually interest in the landscape. From the layers of boulders, we created cascading flowered beds that became alive when in bloom and added splashes of color in the landscape. To further illustrate our true oasis , we installed a water feature that flows as a stream to a koi pond, attracting wildlife and enriching the ecosystem beautifully. With streaming water, the sound is relaxing, and gentle lighted features. We built in electrical lighting power as a convenience, so at night, LED lighting allows for night time ambiance. The customers of the 'Golden Oasis' were absolutely thrilled with their completed landscape design. Now they can enjoy such a beautiful landscape integrated with their lifestyle as they intended originally. When done perfectly, we feel at Rocky Mountain Outdoor Living, a fabulous outdoor space is worth the effort to develop a sense of nature and outdoor living in the majestic Rocky Mountain region!
