About This Project

Pool Build by DSLD Land Management Company, Inc. The 'Pool Build' by DSLD Land Management Company, Inc., located in Vestavia Hills, exemplifies our commitment to enhancing outdoor spaces into beautiful retreats. Throughout the process, we undertook a full landscaping to build an amazing in-ground pool with upscale hardscaping and beautiful greenery. As part of the undertaking, we constructed a top-of-the-line pool from premium, durable materials that make it visually appealing while also built to last. The pool deck was made using travertine pavers, which are slip resistant to ensure safety while being cool on the feet and stunning against the pool's reflective water. Around the pool, we designed stone walls and a custom bench seating arrangement for lounging and gathering. As this consisted of a slope, the challenge was to design collaboratively to solve drainage and access issues. Our team successfully graded the site and installed durable retaining walls to enhance the look of the site, while resolving the concern of flooding/drianage. Subsequently, we added plantings, consisting of native shrubs and colorful perennials in order to enhance visual appeal and provide year-round interest for the client. The selected plantings do quite well in our climate, enabling minimum maintenance for the client, while ensuring sustainability. We delivered a experience that provided functionality, beauty, and exceeded the client's expectations. The pool area is a beautiful gathering space for the client's family and a place for winding down in their back yard. The design truly complements the beauty of the surrounding areas, like Alabaster and Birmingham, to create a gorgeous landscape. We take pride in that the clients' was a true function of artistry and quality, with the outcome being a direct effect of the collaborative effort we put in.
