The Arrowhead Residence Planting Earth Songs Gardening is excited to present our latest , the Arrowhead Residence Planting, a stunning that captures the beauty and integration of nature in a residential landscape. Located in the stunning Arrowhead community, this was a well thought-out and executed to improve the existing landscape and enhance sustainability. The design included a balance of native planting as well as a selection of ornamental plants for add color and texture throughout the seasons. We used premium organic soil amendments to build the planting beds and ensure the plants would have longevity and health. We incorporated drought resistant plants that are both better for the environment and use less water, which is important in the mountain terrain of Colorado. One of the biggest challenges we faced in this was the slope, which we needed to overcome through planning for drainage and accessibility. Our team built terraced planting beds, using natural stone and timber to create interest and to protect against erosion. This design added to the aesthetics of the area and helped the plants establish themselves into the landscape. Along with the planting areas, we also constructed the pathways, made from locally sourced gravel and flagstone, to create both beauty and opportunity. These walkways provide access to the lush gardens and connect the outside living areas. Every selection was made through the lens of materials that would be functional or beautiful, and would work within the natural surroundings to create a feeling of cohesion. Overall, the final product resulted in thrilled clients. The Arrowhead Residence experienced a beautiful garden, full of life, that added curb appeal and became a special place of retreat for family and friends.
