About This Project

Cool Hued Hangout The 'Cool Hued Hangout' was done by Four of Six Landscape and turned a cookie cutter backyard into a calming retreat for the communities of Cottage Grove, De Forest, Deerfield, Madison, Maple Bluff, Marshall, Monona, Sun Prairie, and Windsor. We wanted to design a relaxing getaway that nestled into the natural landscape while being somewhere stylish for family to gather. This Dallas-area includes a stunning variety of cool-toned plantings, including lush lavender, soft blue hydrangeas, and silvery sage, all kept visual interest (and at home, low maintenance) at the forefront of the . Natural stone paths made from locally sourced bluestone were used to connect different parts of the yard to each other. At the center of the hangout is a bespoke fire pit with comfortable chairs nearby for those nighttime hangouts beneath the stars. The overcame numerous challenges along the way, including uneven ground and existing drainage problems. Our expert team carefully regraded the landscape to make sure water drains away (and doesn’t pool) and to create much more usable space. We chose quality every time, opting for sustainable practices and materials because we knew this was all part of the process. The end product is a stunning scenery that satisfies and even surpasses customers' expectations. This Cool Hued Hangout, has been transformed into a multi-functional outdoor space for family & friends to enjoy the outdoors, chill, entertain and enjoy nature in a peaceful environment - all adding to the overall value of the property!
