Firepit retrofitted by Four of Six Landscape Creating tranquil getaways outside the walls of Four of Six Landscape is our specialty, and our latest we're dubbing 'Firepit Retrofit' is no different. This marries, function and beauty, at a very central area in Madison, that helps homeowners to have an inviting outdoor gathering spot. The struggle was with an ugly, stagnant firepit setting that we never utilized or enjoyed. If the elements within the old structure were still intact our team systematically dismantles the old building with as little disturbance to the surrounding landscape as possible. Next we constructed a circular firepit using locally sourced natural stone, selected for appearance and longevity and a raw, organic look. We created a detailed firepit area that is perfectly complemented by seating in surrounding weather resistant teak benches to keep you dry and comfortable while stargazing. For ambience, we wrapped soft integrated lighting around the rim to dance across the firepit and allow for a warm, illuminated glow for evening use. Towering perennial gardens also increased the width of the outdoor space while providing low-maintenance interest for the sittings and attracting local wildlife for the client to enjoy. Our experienced team overcame the challenge of impactful uneven terrain and expertly leveled and graded the ground to form the stability and safety the required. The end result is a beautiful outdoor space that is equal parts nature and design oasis, giving our clients the perfect space to host friends and family on a chilly night around the fire together. Our clients are delighted with the transformation as the new firepit area has made a stunning centerpiece to their outdoor living space, adding vibrance to their home life locally in Cottage Grove and every new memory is extended into the surrounding areas.
