This is one of our recent lawn installations in the town of Sudbury. Site analysis was the starting point of the , which settled for a grass most appropriate to the climate and soil conditions of the region. After a great deal of research, we settled onto a high end mixture of Kentucky Bluegrass and Perennial Ryegrass based on color, strength, and resilience, guaranteeing a hearty lawn that not only would quickly recover from the wear and tear of family life, but also needed very little care and maintenance. A major hurdle was that the land where the property is located is not flat. Then, with the right gear, we graded the area to improve drainage and reduce sinking, and prepared a stable base for the new turf. We enriched the soil that was present along with organic soil amendments that encourage root penetration and spread, a crucial component of any healthy ecosystem. The installation process was detailed; we prepared the soil, sowed seeds by hand, and topped with layer to protect seeds from birds and weather. Post-installation, we left our more personalized care instructions and continual support to ensure the lawn flourished. The end result was a beautiful green blanket that further enhanced the architecture of the house and fit nicely with the surrounding landscape. Our clients were thrilled with their new lawn, amazed that the new lawn paired so well with their existing garden. This did not only provide a visual upgrade to their property, but also increased value and added usability to the home for friend and family gatherings and outdoor activities.
