About This Project

Pool & Backyard by Interior & Exterior Environmental Designs Located in Southern California's sunny coastal region in San Diego, this 'Pool & Backyard' showcases the creativity and craftsmanship of Interior & Exterior Environmental Designs. Serving the beautiful towns of Cardiff By The Sea, Carlsbad, Del Mar, and surrounding areas, we have transformed a typical backyard into a high-end outdoor retreat. The main feature of this beautiful landscape is a custom-designed pool, which immediately brings the outdoors in. We used high-quality and long-lasting materials, such as travertine pavers and glass tile mosaics, creating a sparkling retreat to relax and unwind. The pool is surrounded by a large deck with plenty of space for physically distanced gathering spaces underneath a shaded cabana to entertain guests and enjoy the sun. To further enhance the aesthetic, we designed lush, native flora, such as drought-tolerant succulents and ornamental flowering plants, to flourish in our coastal climate. These plants gave beautiful color, texture, and interest, with minimal water and maintenance. The strategic lighting design brings out the beauty of the landscape in the evening hours, creating an extraordinary inviting atmosphere for guests during evening events. Inevitably, our challenges were uneven terrain and limited spaces. Creative solutions and skillful craftsmanship resulted in groundbreaking design possibilities. Our working ensured every working space worked together to form one collaborative environment that feels warm and inviting. Ultimately, this leading backyard was one of the finest wishes of our clients, creating a private oasis that adds to their lifestyle. This backyard will provide them the peace they will wake up to by their pool in mornings and entertainment during summer star-lit evening events.
