Bridging Boundaries by Holmes Fine Gardens Holmes Fine Gardens is thrilled to present "Bridging Boundaries," a stunning landscape installation that unites the natural charm of its surroundings with the style of modern outdoor living. This serves the beautiful community surrounding Bethel, Bridgeport, and Greenwich. Our team began this journey with the idea of creating a seamless transition between interior and exterior space. The first step in this was to prepare the site and investigate unique topographical features and existing plants on site. Our team faced the challenge of integrating various zones within the landscape, including a garden retreat, entertainment space, and green lawn. To promote sustainability and ecological balance, we procured quality materials including local stone for the paths, sustainably harvested hardwood for the deck, and native plants in a variety of colors and textures. One of the most notable features of "Bridging Boundaries" is the expansive outdoor living area with a custom-built pergola with climbing pots that provides under-cover shade to relax in. In addition, we put in a beautiful water feature that draws the eye and provides the soothing sound of rippling water. During installation, our skilled artisans overcame challenges with terrain and soil, but brought the vision to life with creative design techniques and thoughtful detail crafting. The end result satisfies the client's wishes for a complete outdoor-living experience, that lends itself to both daily enjoyment and family gatherings. "Bridging Boundaries" firmly melds the different spaces of this landscape while renewing the entire aesthetic of the property, ultimately demonstrating what is possible with modern landscaping.
