About This Project

This is the first E2 illuminations design landscaping changing. E2 Illumination Designs No 1: Rothwell Residence University Park A beautiful landscape renovation that transformed the outdoors of a home in University Park. It consisted of an extensive redesign of the front & back yard, adding plenty of green, colorful flower beds and layers of lighting for both aesthetic and functional purpose. However, one of this s most important features is a tiered garden consisting of various native Texas flora that not only flourish in this climate but require comparatively little upkeep. By weaving beautiful natural stone paths through the landscape, we were able create a sense of form and adventure as you navigate through the landscape. The land was not level and with this came some challenges, and we handled these through the design of retaining walls which harmonize with the nature blanket it. We completed the sophisticated look with an elaborate LED lighting system, highlighting the important landscape features of the home, so that it shines during the day and the night. Lighting was purposefully placed in the landscape to light the paths and showcase the architectural features of the home, while ensuring safety. We partnered closely with the client to make sure everything reflected their vision and lifestyle requirements. The end product was a beautifully functional mixture that turned the patio area into a quiet oasis that is the perfect environment for company or to just curl up and enjoy the night air. So when we finished up their job, our thrilled client praised our level of detail and the craftsmanship that made their vision turn into reality on the land.
