E2 Illumination Designs / a Powerful Landscape Remedy #5: THE HIGHLAND PARK HEARTSTOPPER Presented by E2 Illumination Designs This highlights our workmanship and design tailored specifically for the needs of our clients in the Dallas area. The landscape was strategically designed to compliment the natural beauty of the property while creating an outdoor living space suitable for leisure and entertainment. Highlights include a hand-laid stone path built from native flagstone, guiding guests through well-appointed gardens rich with native Texas flora well-suited to the climate. By using drought-tolerant vegetation you can also help create a sustainable landscape and design, as well as conserve water, transform a mostly standard landscape approach into a green landscape practice in the 21st century. The main struggle for #5 was the bumpy land on the property. Our talented team were the artsy ones, who formed an even surface, which was levelled and added tiered planting beds, for sprinkled little groups of hazy texture and zones for percipience field plant species. We chose some long-lasting materials, like weather-proof timber for the raised beds and light-colored decorative boulders to seamlessly blend with the natural surroundings. To enhance the outdoor experience we also introduced ambient lighting solutions ever so subtly placing emphasis on the features of the garden in the night creating a warm inviting atmosphere. The design also features a custom irrigation system to aid the growth of the curatorial plant species. #5 led to a stunning, functional, and sophisticated landscape that makes our clients swoon due to its beauty and ease of maintenance.
