The work that would eventually be the Summerfield Pool Renovation originated with a simple desire to improve an outdated pool area to a tranquil outdoor retreat. The included a beautiful new pool deck comprised of travertine pavers that convey elegance and durability. Travertine pavers are known for their natural beauty and slip-resistance and were laid out as if they had been arranged by nature itself from the surrounding landscape to the water's edge. In addition to the new pool deck, our team incorporated a range of vibrant native plantings for color and to invite local pollinators, in line with our firm’s commitment to sustainability in landscaping. One of the initial challenges we encountered with the was the sloped terrain of the existing situation surrounding the pool area. Our team, utilizing local stone, designed a series of retaining walls to create an incredible multi-tiered landscape that was both functional as well as visually pleasing spatial interest. This not only allowed for stabilization of the area, but created opportunities for new flower beds and seating for relaxation and enjoyment. The final product of the Summerfield Pool Renovation is a blend of nature and modern. This landscape affords the homeowners a soothing location for family gatherings and summer parties. The pool is also outfitted with soft ambient lighting in the landscape so they can relax and enjoy their evenings by the pool.
