New Construction in High Rock Lake Hawkins Landscape Architecture/TriadGarden is delighted to present 'New Construction in High Rock Lake,' an incredible that balances the natural environment around High Rock Lake with a modern layout and design. We take pride in this landscaping , which displays our willingness to achieve high quality and modern design components, while serving the communities surrounding Belews Creek, Colfax, Greensboro, High Point, Kernersville, and beyond. The layout of this blends native plants, environmentally sustainable materials, and beautifully laid hardscape features. We selected locally quarried stone for patios and walkways, providing a smooth transition and durability, while fitting into the natural landscape. The addition of a small water feature allows not only for healthy aesthetics, but also provides a habitat for local wildlife, an inviting atmosphere for relaxation, and overall tranquility. One of our many tasks was the challenge of the downward sloping grade. Our team provided engineered retaining walls and terrace gardens to diminish erosion, but also add stairs and levels which captivate users to explore the environment. The addition of plants who are drought tolerant also further aligns with sustainability values and the site had little effect on water usage with a seasonal display of color. The ending product highlighted a landscape that exceeded client expectations with healthy gardens, inviting places for social engagement, and a melting together of nature and built architecture.
